Food & Drink Expo 2018

On Tuesday 17^th April the Sales Team took a trip down to the NEC in Birmingham to visit the Food and Drink Expo. The Food and Drink Expo is an exciting event gathering the entire UK food and drink community – The event covers five different shows including Food & Drink Expo, Foodex, The Ingredients Show, National Convenience Show and Farm Shop & Deli Show. Professionals across the whole industry, from grocery, wholesale and speciality retail to foodservice, ingredients and manufacturing, come together to uncover new trends, and product launches.

We steadily paced from stand to stand meeting established brands to new businesses, learning about new products and ventures. We saw many distinctive packaging designs and were pleased to see a huge amount of interest for our stand-up pouch ranges; with brands interested in converting from jars and boxes into stand-up pouches. Our new compostable pouch launch was of huge appeal to most professionals searching for a sustainable route in their flexible packaging.
